Okroshka with radish and sour milk, cold soup.
5 fresh radish, with leaves, chopped.
3 fresh cucumbers, chopped into strips.
4 tbsp green onion, chopped.
0,5 litres (1 pint) - water, boiled, chilled.
0,5 litres (1 pint) - sour milk, not sweet (Clabber - Milk which has soured to the point where it is thick but not separated).
Chopped green dill and parsley, salt to taste.
1. Put cucumbers, green onion and radish into big bowl.
2. Pour the water and sour milk into bowl with vegetables, add chopped greenery and salt, stir well. The okroshka is ready. The proportions can be altered and okroshka gives a lot of scope to inventive cook. Serve cold.
