Cold Soup with beet and sour milk.
4 fresh beets roots, peeled, chopped into strips.
2 fresh cucumbers, chopped into strips.
2 tbsp green dill, chopped.
1 tbsp lemon juice.
1 litres (2 pint) - water.
1 litres (2 pint) - sour milk, not sweet (Clabber - Milk which has soured to the point where it is thick but not separated.).
salt to taste.
1. Put beets into hot water and bring to boil. Cook for 10 - 15 minutes. Take away from the heat, set aside to chill.
2. Put remaining ingredients in to cold beet and it's decoction.
3. Pour the sour milk into bowl with mix, add chopped greenery and salt, stir well. The soup is ready. The proportions can be altered.
4. Serve cold.
